Minimizes the function within the interval contained in the given Bracket.

Parameters

bracket Bracket: A bracket containing a minimum.

Return Value

Double
The minimum of bracket.Function over the interval from bracket.Min to bracket.Max.

Remarks

Iteration stops when either the estimated error is less than the tolerance, or the maximum number of iterations is reached. Setting the error tolerance to less than zero ensures that the maximum number of iterations is always reached.
